Context
Water from Telița's local source did not meet drinking-water standards, and a mains network was not a realistic option. The town hall obtained funding from the Embassy of Japan for a solution at the source, with strict reporting to the donor.
The task
A complete water treatment system with a flow of 10 m³/h: staged filtration, disinfection, a tank, a pump set and controls, installed in a protected plant room, with training for the local operator and laboratory tests at handover.
The solution
We started from the raw-water analyses and sized the filtration stages according to the results. The equipment was installed in a heated room with access for maintenance, and the controls protect the pumps against dry running. The town hall's operator received training and a simple operating log.
The result
The village has water treated to the required parameters, confirmed by a test certificate at handover, and the donor received full reporting. Two years later the same experience brought us the filtration contracts in Ciobanovca and the disinfection station in Peticeni.
