Turnkey sanitary facilities for schools, institutions and administrative buildings
Sanitary facilities are our most frequent job: over 15 completely refurbished toilet blocks in schools, gymnasiums and Government buildings, including accessible cubicles for people with disabilities. We work to the standards required by UNICEF and ONDRL for educational institutions.
What is included
- Removal of old finishes and installations, waste disposal
- New hot/cold water and sewer pipework, pressure-tested
- Floor and wall waterproofing, screeds falling to floor drains
- Large-format ceramic cladding (60×120), epoxy grout where required
- HPL cubicles, wall-hung sanitaryware, concealed cisterns, hand dryers
- Mechanical ventilation, LED lighting, accessible cubicle with grab rails
How we approach this type of project
The preparation crew goes in first, demolishing and clearing within a week; then the plumbers run the pipework and pressure-test it before any tiling. The tilers work on verified waterproofing, and the HPL cubicles and sanitaryware go in last. In a school that stays open we work wing by wing, on a schedule agreed with the head teacher.
Materials and equipment
Ceramic and porcelain tiles from Supraten and Romstal, sanitaryware and concealed cisterns from European manufacturers, made-to-measure HPL cubicles, low-consumption fans and hand dryers. The client chooses the model, we guarantee the installation.

Questions about this service
How long does refurbishing a school toilet block take?
Usually 4–6 weeks for a complete toilet block, including drying time for screeds and waterproofing. Two blocks in parallel do not double the time, because the crews work in a staggered sequence.
Do you also build accessible cubicles?
Yes: a cubicle of the regulated dimensions, a 90 cm door, grab rails, a lowered washbasin and an alarm, as at the project on 162 Ștefan cel Mare Blvd.
